I've worked the length and breadth of the uk in the rail industry, like the thought of freight hoppjng... if anyone is looking for an extra team member give me a shout...
I know many locations, routes, wagon type's, loco types etc... i may be an asset to a team, if i don't know the answer i'm sure i can find out.
Unfortunately no mixed freight anymore so once you are on you are on, choose your ride wisely, ridden a few hoppers back in the day on ballast run, if not in the cab...

I'd reconsider freight hopping in the UK, you could die instantly from electricity. There's also very few good freight trains.
