Brave Dave's Wild Weekend

Are you new to the mountains? Would you like to enjoy them as part of a group, led by me and a trusty assistant?

With spaces for up to 14 people* this adventure weekend is a fantastic social event as well as the perfect way for you to experience what the mountains have to offer.

We'll be staying in an amazing and unique mountain lodge that is actually out on Snowdon itself, far from anywhere else. Over the weekend I will lead you on mountain walks, we'll do some scrambling, we'll jump into a (deep) stream and wild swim in a lake.

We'll fire up a barbecue, star gaze, have a few beers and make new friends, all whilst being overlooked by the Snowdon Massif's mighty peaks. And whereas sunshine and clear skies all weekend would be great, whatever the weather decides to do, we'll still have a blast!

Over the two days we will be doing a good yet relatively straightforward mountain walk and generally exploring the area. You won't need to be super fit for them and they won't require any scrambling know-how so as long as you have some basic hill-walking experience under your belt you should be fine.

The lodge where we'll be staying is completely unique and has to be seen in person to be properly appreciated. If "remote mountain lodge" makes you think of a damp, old barn with a couple of scratty camp beds and a bucket then put your mind at ease because this lodge is top of the range! It has three bedrooms (sleeping 5, 5 and 6), three toilets/showers, a cosy social area, dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. Check out the run-through video I made!

A full kit list will be sent to you upon booking. Plot twist: You'll have to carry everything you bring for 1km to even reach the lodge! So pack smart (I'll advise you if you need help).
