I was watching Daves Canadian freight hoping series again and it got me thinking, i know Dave is banned from the US and Canada and he has stated being agains freight hopping in Australia, so why not try New Zealand?
The rail network covers around 2000km, though you would need to get a ferry between islands, it could be a good short series, and after freight hopping there may be some time left to do that thing they as well, e.g. climbing.
