I've been riding for years and have always wanted to create a guide for it - basically a compiling of all my notes, recce, experiences, and such.

What are people's thoughts on this? Is it something I should be hush hush about or could it be a welcome and viable resource? The info is out there but it's scattered, dubious, and often conveyed via word of mouth.

I think that the issue a lot of people have is that if there was some central point for all train hopping info then you'd get looooads more kids trying it, and therefore looooads more kids falling under trains and being pulped up into red lumps. The fact that it's difficult to find relevant info means that people generally only end up doing it if they're really serious about wanting to. Creating a "Freight Hopping For Dummies" guide would only attract the wrong people to it, I'm sure.

I mean over the years I've had plenty of crap from people about how my videos will lead to the downfall of society and "won't somebody think of the children??". And that's just my videos, where I don't give away the more important details about how to freight hop. If you created a guide you'd get a LOT of flack for it.
