Good visual description of the canadian grain car. One of my favorites for staying out of site but not at all for sleeping. On occasion the hotel de freight train comes with complimentary breakfast including whatever excess grains make it onto the porch. Great for bird watching and I hear the bears like them.
What's your favourite sort of car for sleeping? I've never been in a box car. Hopefully I'll find one the next time I'm out there. Just have to make sure the door doesn't slide shut and lock when I'm in there. Yikes!
