I entered the Snowdonia Marathon and then foolishly forgot about it until less than a month before race day, meaning that I only did three runs to train for it, and none of them were on hills. Fortunately I'm a natural runner so I didn't do badly. Even more fortunate was the weather which was amaaaaazing. Apparently the Snowdonia Marathon is usually in fog/rain/sleet so we were very lucky to get beautiful sunshine on race day this time.

Top class organisation, stunning route, superb atmosphere and a brilliant crowd all added up to an awesome marathon. Hoorah!
