Hi James, great to have you on here, mate :) Are there any good places around Norfolk for outdoor stuff? I know almost nothing about the county.

Theres plenty of walks and interesting places to explore my favourite is hunting down old ww2 air bases and bunkers etc. But its no where close to the likes of other countys further north with all the hills and climbing etc.

What are the bunkers like over there? I went down an old RAF bunker about 6 years ago. After we'd come back out I decided to Google it and found out that a) it was full of asbestos dust and b) a local kid had gone missing down there a week or two earlier.

Yikes!

Moral of the Story: Always do 10 minutes of research on a place before you go there.

Havent been down a big old bunker like the one you went down i saw the vid i think. But i grew up walking distance from a few big big old airbases that were derelicti full of asbestos but as long as you dont desturb it to much its not a problem i loved nosing around especially climbing a single ladder upto the top of a high water tower was always good fun. Ive been reading up on the local bases and doing some research on them when i get a chance ill have a outing to find some big old nuclear ones hopefully.
