Here is a video that I believe depicts a good example of train riding in America. The characters feel like people I have met and the gritty video quality reflects something I personally want to see in more train hop productions, though it seems inevitably lost with modern HD technology.

Another good one if interested in the characters from this generation and era is "Long Gone". It used to be free on vimeo but seems to have vanished. Not sure if it's still around.Masterful production. Hollywood level quality following a few FTRA and others.
