If you're planning a trip to the Lakes I can highly recommend Yewbarrow in Wasdale. Loads of hands on scrambling. The National Trust campsite is really good too.

Looks like a good day out, Penny! I see that Yewbarrow is one of the Bob Graham Round so I'll be doing it myself when I spend a few days walking the route.
That's Yewbarrow at the front, right?
What a place the Lakes is!

That's the one. Ascent from Over Beck carpark via Bell Rib, which takes you to Great Door. Follow the ridge to Stirrup Crag and descend from there to Dore Head. We missed out Stirrup Crag because of bugger all visibility so took the left fork at a little cairn that leads to a scree traverse cutting under all of the crags. Love the Lakes.

If you've got a spare £950K a friend is selling her small farm in Wasdale!

Damn it, I've only got £800,000 at the moment. My dream to own a Wasdale farm will have to wait.

Yeah, I've got a spare tenner. Apparently that's "Not enough". ;)
