My friends and I were originally going to go to Scotland for a few days but the weather report sounded brutal, so we opted for the Lake District instead where the weather report was still a bit brutal but at least it wasn't as far to drive.

Our original plan was to walk the Bob Graham Round in three days. We knew it was a tough route but we didn't quite calculate what it would be like whilst carrying full wild camping kit and starting it off in arctic conditions.

Fortunately, the good thing about hiking in the mountains is that if you want to change your mind about a route... you can! So we did!
