Hi guys! You look like a bunch of crazy nice guys!

I've been up to the North Pole 2 years ago in Tuktoyaktuk at the end of the ice road and I miss the time I was travelling with my backpack and my propane heater. Now I'm working in Ontario I plan to work a year or two and then maybe going to south america anyway.

I just want to tell you that you are so inspiring, maybe we gonna make a trip together someday, who knows. Where can I find some plan or map for the railroad in Canada? What are you using for your trip? A website? A book?
Thanks.

Hi Jeff! Nice to meet you! I split your post off from the other thread and turned it into its own thread seeing as how it's an intro post :)

What's it like up in the North Pole? I presume you went at the height of summer? I can't imagine anything much more bleak than being in the Arctic Circle during winter :P

South America sounds more comfortable!

To answer your question, if/when I do this Canada trip I'll be planning it by talking to a few people (mainly on here or by email) and then buying a ticket and seeing what happens from there. I don't have anything very in depth to help me plan. Haha. Although that Canadian Rail Guide book that was linked in another thread looks pretty useful! That could be worth a purchase.

Ok Right On! Thank you for the book link Sinwolf im gonna get it and i been at the north pole in winter 2 months at -60° in the complete darkness(at the end we had like 4 hours of sun per day)with the inuit people they are dangerous and they dont like the white man and i learned it the hard way lol.I Still have good memories like seing the Nothern Lights every day and eating cariboo every day(the best meat ever). When i think about that i been to the 3 oceans around Canada Atlantic then Arctic and finally Pacific. (I put the picture at the arctic ocean and pacific too) Do you still doing martial art it one of my project too.

Haha, Jeff, how on Earth do you end up living in the North Pole in mid-winter for 2 months? I mean, I understand "how". You just go up there and do it :P But WHY?? -60 degrees! No daylight! Surrounded by racist locals! Haha, that's seriously hardcore. Respect to you for that!

Great pics too :)
