Here is the video from when I organised and undertook the national 3 peaks challenge with work colleagues, back in 2013.

The video starts with our proud driver Howard, who was thoroughly impressed with the writing on the rental van we got him!

We set off straight from work on a Friday (from Surrey), and had planned to climb Nevis on Saturday evening. As the weather forecast changed overnight, we decided to go straight up Nevis in the early hours of the morning, the moment we got there. As you can see from the video, the clouds cleared up right as we got to the summit, PERFECT! Unfortunately Nevis claimed an injury and took out our only female taking part :(

We then went on to Scafell Pike in glorious sunset conditions, scorchingly hot still! I wasn't a fan of this one at the time, I wasn't in shape and its quite loose with several false summits. I'd love to go back though. The views are phenomenal.

Snowdon again we got at a lovely time. Just started out on the Pyg track as it was starting to get light and were treated to some lovely glowing sunrise colours on the ascent. A little bit of cloud inversion to boot and a you have a lovely end to the challenge. We wanted to include the descent as part of the timed challenge, so we were left with only 10 minutes to spare (we'd taken a fair bit of time at a service station on the way to Wales).

Not the greatest video, I was just grabbing short clips on a cheapy digital camera - but thought I'd share it here. Also, the ending is super abrupt as i had to chop the original credits after getting two names mixed up!

We managed to raise over £1500 for a local disability sports charity, which was run by another work colleague (who isn't in this video).

Enjoy :)

Kev, had you been in a fight shortly before doing the 3 Peaks? Your eyes look pretty bruised!

The start made me laugh out loud, when you're all crossing the bridge at the base of Ben Nevis.

And yeah, you struck gold with Ben Nevis' summit! Last year I did the whole damn thing in fog and it was a bit shit.

And the super abrupt ending made me laugh too.

Damn it! Seeing videos like this gets me psyched for doing some hiking! Bring on the Spring! And Summer. And Autumn. In fact bring on everything except crappy February.

The bags under my eyes are from sleep deprivation. I literally had zero sleep between Thursday 8am until between Scafell and Snowdon, Saturday midnight going into Sunday am. Almost 3 full days. I was excited the thursday, stayed up late and then couldn't sleep when I went to bed. Friday I stayed awake all night with our driver, keeping him company. Then because the plan changed I wasnt able to get the rest I was expecting before starting on he Saturday. Made it tougn going. I don't think I smiled on Scafell at any point!

The edit was from chopping it in youtube. I couldn't be arsed to fix and re upload for the 20 views itd get. It remains my only video edit to date.

We got perfect conditions for this, thanks to changing our timings last minute. Views to the horizon at all 3 summits :D
