"The Big Day Out" on Crib Goch and Snowdon is the most popular adventure that I provide and it is easy to see why. Suitable for almost anyone, this full day out on the Snowdon massif is guaranteed to impress.
For beginners this hike is a perfect introduction to the mountains, taking you up and over a wide variety of terrain and including some excellent scrambling, accumulating in the world famous Crib Goch knife edge ridge. For intermediates this adventure allows you to push yourself, taking you up routes that you would have never done (or even found) if you were by yourself.
I'll take you on a route which gets you up on the ridges and away from the crowds. At the end of the day you'll be back at the bottom, knackered and buzzing from the climbs.
Routes will be flexible and can be changed or adapted based on the weather so you can rest assured that whatever the conditions, we'll choose the most sensible options.

Whichever route we choose, this adventure involves a good amount of scrambling. The scrambling will be slow and steady but you'll need a reasonable level of fitness and head for heights in order to make the most of the day. Previous scrambling experience is advised but not essential as routes will be designed around your abilities. There will be plenty of breaks for you to rest and refuel.
• Full waterproofs (jacket with a hood, and trousers)
• Walking boots that you've worn before
• Proper walking socks
• A backpack (around 20-25L)
• Hat and gloves
• A spare warm top (e.g. a fleece) in a plastic (waterproof) bag
• At least 1.5L of water
• A decent sized packed lunch
• Snacks (chocolate bars, sweets, nuts etc)
• A plastic bag for litter
• Cash for the bus and the summit cafe (if you want)!
• Walking boots that you've worn before
• Proper walking socks
• A backpack (around 20-25L)
• Hat and gloves
• A spare warm top (e.g. a fleece) in a plastic (waterproof) bag
• At least 1.5L of water
• A decent sized packed lunch
